Who we are
Plan & Make is an independent embroidery guide and digitizing studio. You can contact us at hello@planandmake.com or through our contact page.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: name, email address, business name, password (stored as a one-way hash), and the artwork or message you submit.
- Account and billing data: plan, credits and transaction references. Card details are handled by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring page and approximate location, collected through server logs and analytics.
- Uploaded artwork: files you upload to StitchForge, together with generated previews and machine files.
How we use information
We use information to provide the service, process orders, generate files, prevent abuse, respond to messages, improve the product and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Cookies and advertising
We use essential cookies to keep the site and account working. With consent, we may use analytics and advertising cookies. If Google AdSense is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads where permitted. You can manage cookies through our consent banner and your browser settings.
Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this or other websites. Sharing
We share data only with service providers needed to run the site and store: hosting, email, payments, analytics, security and advertising. They receive only what they need and are bound by their own terms. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for legal, tax and security reasons. Uploaded artwork is kept for the period needed to provide the service or until you delete it. Backups expire on a rolling schedule.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection to processing. Contact hello@planandmake.com. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Security
We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, access controls and backups. No online service is perfectly secure; report a concern promptly.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
